We are encouraged and thankful for the good reports we receive
week by week regarding our Points of Light prayer ministry. 15 homes have committed themselves to meet each week on a specific day at a specific time to pray over a very focused number of requests which are updated every week. The intention is to help us gather and effectively pray with as little distraction as possible. As James instructs, “The fervent effectual prayer of a righteous person does much”.
It’s exciting to see so many interested in gathering in homes to pray together for the many challenges that face us and to strengthen the faith of one another.
There are PoL information sheets posted on doors leading from the FLC and the Sanctuary listing names, addresses, and phone numbers of host families. We have also placed a map on the Website and street names of our PoLs and their meeting times. For exact names and addresses we ask that you contact the church office, and it may be a good idea to call the PoL before you drive over, just in case the family is out of town that particular week.
Our young people gather each Sunday and Wednesday for fun, fellowship, and Bible study. Sunday School is at 9:45am each week, and at 6:00pm every Sunday the youth come together for a meal (usually in the FLC ) followed by Bible study and games. Occasionally, they meet in homes for a special activity and program.
On Wednesday evenings everyone is invited to share in the mid-week 5:00pm dinner which leads in to our other ministry activities, Bible study, and prayer.

October 30 - Family Halloween Bash! Come share in all the fun, games,contests, and food on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00pm.There will even be a hayride! If you can help with candy, booths, pumpkin sugar cookies, or any other way, please contact Ericca C. or Johnny. Thanks!
October 30 - Youth Bonfire. Looking for something exciting to do on a chilly Florida night? You're invited to join us around the bonfire on Friday night from 6:00-9:00pm. It's part of our Family Halloween Bash.
November 15 - Sweet Unity Fellowship. Can you spell "Mmm Good"? You are asked to come take part in a sweet time of fellowship that includes some of the best tasting yummy desserts you can put together! Our congregation will gather in the FLC at 6:00pm to sample all of the wonderful treats and share in a time of fun. More details to follow.
November 18 - Body Life. Come share our buffet meal at 5:00pm on Wednesday the 18th, and then take part in our Body Life at 6:00pm to hear and discuss a Statement of Purpose (Vision for our future) and a Mission Statement about how we will accomplish our Purpose. We'll be finished in time for you to get to your other evening ministries.
